?? Spring is Here—And So is Playground Season! ?? As the weather warms up, students at Oak Hill Elementary are thrilled to return to the playground—a space designed to encourage movement, creativity, and connection. Shive-Hattery partnered with Clear Creek Amana Community School District to create an inclusive and engaging environment that supports both learning and play. From interactive classrooms and reading nooks to an open turf area with modern playground amenities, Oak Hill was built with students’ well-being in mind. Now, as spring begins, the playground is once again a hub of laughter and energy. We’re proud to help design schools that inspire the next generation!

This transformation involved merging two suites into one seamless, patient-centered space. The result? A state-of-the-art facility featuring: ? An embryology lab, andrology endocrinology lab & phlebotomy lab ? Modern procedure & exam rooms focused on comfort and efficiency ? We’re thrilled to announce that the Highway 1 Reconstruction and Widening Project in Fairfield has been named ICPA's Best State Road Project of 2024! ?? This project, designed by Shive-Hattery and built by Wicks Construction, focused on improving traffic safety with a two-way left-turn lane, smoother traffic flow with a new roundabout at intersection of Hwy 1 and Filmore Ave, and improving walkability with a 10-foot paved pedestrian trail. This award was presented at the 61st Annual Concrete Paving Workshop, where our project was recognized for its smoothness, quality control, safety, and complexity among 87 nominated projects. A huge thank you to our amazing team, the City of Fairfield, and our dedicated partners for their hard work and commitment.
