Together, we're committed to empowering female founders with the mentorship and resources needed to nurture and scale businesses nationwide. As our first foray into this partnership, SheScales volunteers Stasia Fulginiti, Chyna Beck, and Sierra Ambrosek recently ran a workshop on #paidsearch that included resources and guides to help founders get started, how to make the most out of budgets, how to build keyword lists, and more! Here are five takeaways from the workshop: 1. Google has a lot of free resources and guides to help you get started on your paid search journey. 2. Do not run on search partners or display networks. These are not Google and can often bring down Click Through Rate (CTR) and overall performance. 3. Be sure to select English for languages so that you do not run on browsers set to other languages for people who may not speak English. 4. Individually target all states that you sell to. This will allow you to see how each state performs and make bid adjustments accordingly. 5. Ensure the ad copy matches the content on the landing page. A/B test search content head-to-head to see what performs better. This allows marketers to see what copy and offer generates the most conversions.
