Just as I thought the Trans Charter was completed, we get the new ruling from the Supreme Court yesterday … It was a painful and sad day for me, we must never stop being our authentic selves. I’m sure there are many very happy people across the music industry, but I will not stop until I see a positive change for all of my community! 🏳️⚧️ Let’s not forget the problem has always been Trans Women, who get the hardest time in every aspect of their lives .. Doing what I’ve been doing for free, from my heart and to help others goes to show my dedication, passion and commitment. I will be starting a go fund me page, so I can at least start my own business as my volunteering will only get me so far !! ☀️ Please do sign up and help trans people like me, I do hold a GRC so this ruling affects me more than most .. In their show, the duo takes a deep dive into the connections between reggae/dub and the unique sound of Brazilian bass culture. 🟡 In 2023, they were the only Latin American project selected by Ballantine's UK True Music Fund programme. 🟡 Since 2022, they have organised the Feminine Hi-Fi Festival, a festival dedicated to dub and sound system culture that has brought together dozens of Brazilian and international artists.
