Celebrating National Coffee Day! ? Our fantastic partnership with @CrowsCoffee Redbridge is going strong! Each Thursday, they generously donate coffee and pastries, providing our students with an incredible opportunity to build essential life and job skills. Through this program, our students learn how to pick up orders, make coffee, create menus, stock carts, and provide excellent customer service. It's more than just a coffee cart - it's a way to build a sense of community and support at Sherwood. Staff Spotlight! Today we want to recognize Sherwood’s Employment Specialist for Adult Day Services, Sean Wade! Sean encourages each individual to grow in important job skills, which help them gain and maintain employment. He also supervises “Sean’s Snack Shack,” an onsite store that utilizes skills such as math, patience, and customer service. He is one of the first faces our clients see each morning, and he never misses an opportunity to say goodbye at the end of each day!
