Thanks to the vision and dedication of Pathways to Housing PA, we’re honored to help bring 78 affordable units to life across 25 vacant lots along N. 17th and Master Streets, transforming these spaces into homes for those who need it most. Stone Sherick Consulting Group has secured all the financing for this project and secured site control for PHWC. Land has been graciously donated by the City of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Housing Authority. Phase 1 will deliver 40 energy-efficient, accessible apartments with features like a community room and onsite management. With Philadelphia ranking as the U.S. city with the highest share of cost-burdened households, affordable housing has never been more vital. Here's a look at the rendering for the East Tioga Apartments, a 51-unit affordable housing development coming soon to the Port Richmond neighborhood! This project will help bring more affordable housing options to the community. This ground-up development will offer a mix of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units, with over 30% of the apartments designed for residents with physical disabilities. The project will provide high-quality, energy-efficient housing for individuals and families earning at or below 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI), including six units dedicated to extremely low-income residents. We are thrilled to share that SSCG, in collaboration with the WOMEN'S COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION PROJECT (WCRP), has been awarded the opportunity to develop Linda Lockman-King Apartments in West Philadelphia’s Haddington/Mill Creek neighborhood. This four-story, 33-unit building will provide much-needed affordable housing for families, with units reserved for households at 20%, 50%, and 60% of the area median income (AMI). Designed with 9 fully accessible apartments, Linda Lockman-King Apartments will not only provide quality homes but also help to revitalize the community and create stability for families facing housing challenges.
