Our team was excited to continue our partnership with Grow Some Good! Grow Some Good’s organizational mission revolves around creating an agriculturally sustainable future for Maui, and they do so through teaching students about how to grow their own food. Their Kumu Kit program creates student gardening kits that are to be used in school gardens that they have established on school campuses across the island. This semester, they are creating kits to support over 1,400 students across 68 classrooms in 15 different schools. Students can take the plants home at the completion of the program, and the rest of the plants are donated into the community!
