We Walked the Talk. ?? This morning, 300 of us took to the streets of Singapore with one mission: to turn mentorship into sponsorship. We all know that: Women are over-mentored and under-sponsored. We don’t need more advice—we need opportunity. Today, we teamed up with C-suite male leaders who walked side by side with women who came with a specific ask. Those male leaders were ready to commit to more than just conversation. ?To commit to action. ?To create space at the table. ?To accelerate change—not in five years, but today. It is hard to summarize the excitement of this morning. My few takeaways are: ? --> Sponsorship thrives on clarity. Just ask. It can be a life-changing opportunity. ? --> Comfort zones don’t build equity or opportunities.?Stepping out of the comfort zone opens new doors and creates new connections. ? --> Great leaders don’t hoard power—they share it. Kudos to all leaders who actively lift others up. Because the only way to grow your power is to give it away. So what’s next ? Well, this is not an event. It’s a movement. We hope to inspire others. Because even one small step in this direction matters. Not only on International Women’s Day, but every day. I am still buzzing with the contagious energy of this morning. It keeps me going and motivating me to do more. (Prague, Katarina Emma Schapiro & Inspire & Impact Network?) Big thank you to everyone who woke up early and showed up.? Kudos to our sponsors and all the amazing volunteers. You make the difference! Last but not least, Uma Thana Balasingam & Jingjin Liu I love changing the world with you. Happy International Women’s Day! #WalkTheTalk #SponsorshipMatters #Leadership #WomenInLeadership #EquityInAction

Did you know 37% of workers haven’t used generative AI at work in the last year? (PwC 2024) ???? Our recent She Loves Data Sydney event explored how to bridge this gap and integrate AI into our careers. ??? Key Takeaways: ?? Curiosity is key - Jana Marlé-Zizková reminded us that new technologies can feel intimidating, but the best way to learn is by diving in — experimenting, making mistakes, and refining. Even a “bad” prompt or result is a valuable step forward. ?? Creativity and collaboration set professionals apart - Steve Vials pointed out, AI can handle repetitive tasks, but what truly makes a difference is how we collaborate and think creatively. While AI might take us 70% of the way, our unique insights and problem-solving skills drive real impact. ?? AI agents are unlocking new efficiencies - Carla West shared how AI is now moving beyond analysis to taking action, freeing up professionals to focus on strategic and creative work. Knowing when to leverage AI assistance and when to take control is becoming a crucial skill. ?? Interacting with AI is a conversation, not a one-time input - Oren Weiss emphasized the importance of treating AI as a back-and-forth process — listening to its outputs, refining, and iterating. The best results come from engaging dynamically, not expecting perfection on the first try. A huge thank you to our venue sponsor Atlassian and Craig Panigiris, as well as Renee Dvir for planning this fantastic event, Xavier Keutch for amazing photos! ?? And of course, a big shoutout to our expert panelists: Carla, Steve, Jana, Oren – you were all incredible! ???? AI is about doing, creating, and connecting. It’s a tool that enhances our thinking—not replaces it. Let’s continue exploring, adapting, and pushing boundaries together! #AI #FutureofAI #FutureofWork #SheLovesData #WomenInTech #FutureReady

As I sat at the She Loves Data event, listening to experts discuss the AI driven workplace, one thought kept ringing in my mind: AI is here to enhance the way we work, not replace us. One of the standout points from the event was a statement from?Jana Marlé-Zizková ? AI is only as good as the data it’s built on. It really hit home for me. We’ve all heard it before, but hearing it in this context made me reflect on my own experiences. As someone who’s worked with personalization and marketing tech in eCommerce, I know firsthand that before companies can embrace AI for innovation, they need to ensure their data is solid. Quality, integrity, and compliance are foundational. Also with my own use of ChatGPT. I’ve discovered a technique that helps me make sure the answers I get from AI are grounded in my own thoughts and beliefs, but also open me to new possibilities. In addition to providing my prompt, I ask ChatGPT to question me on the subject I’m working on. These questions serve as an invitation to explore more angles and deepen my understanding before ChatGPT drafts a response. It’s a small but powerful step to ensure that the data I’m working with and the AI’s output aligns with my goals while encouraging creative exploration. Another powerful point from the event was a Oren Weiss : Don’t take AI’s answers at face value. Critical thinking and validation are key. By using multiple AI tools and cross-checking, we can ensure we’re making informed decisions and not just relying on AI’s first response. As we move forward, it’s clear that AI’s true potential lies in getting our data governance right first. Once that’s in place, the doors to innovation, operational efficiency, and growth will swing wide open. Looking forward to what’s next! #AI #DataGovernance #Innovation #MachineLearning #FutureOfWork?
