We're hiring! We are looking for one or two Architectural Designers to become a valuable member of our team. Sheldon Pennoyer Architects is an award-winning architecture studio specializing in the design of single-family homes and small institutions that are integrated with their surrounding landscapes. Sustainability and energy-efficient design solutions are a main focus of our design philosophy. Applicants should have 2 - 5 years of experience working on projects from schematic design through construction documents, be proficient in Revit, rendering software, and exhibit strong design and time management skills. Experience with AutoCad is preferred, along with a knowledge of building construction systems. Involvement in multiple projects is from start to finish, through all phases of design and construction, and with opportunities for independent design and client involvement. An enthusiastic and positive attitude is essential! Requirements: + Bachelors or master’s degree in architecture + On the path to licensure (AXP/ARE). + Proficiency in Revit required, experience in AutoCad preferred, and rendering skills and Photoshop are a plus. + Experience with single-family residential and wood construction preferred. + Strong communication and collaboration skills, willing and able to work with the Project Architects on multiple projects.
