I worked as an MSL and MSL National Director before I leveraged a layoff to launch my coaching and training business, Thrive MSL, about a year ago. During my career as an MSL & MSL leader, I... → Coached 500+ MSLs to excel in their role → Mentored over 100 aspiring MSLs to land their first Pharma role → Got laid off during a reduction in force that severed our entire MSL team → Ended up finding my ikigai (Japanese concept of aligning your mission, passion, vocation & profession…look it up!?I promise you won’t be disappointed!) I helped a client prepare for her upcoming MSL interviews and here's what she shared: "After receiving an opportunity to interview with the hiring manager for an open position, I decided to schedule a mock interview with Shelby...I felt much more confident after my mock session with Shelby. She pointed out a couple phrases I said too frequently and some others that I should avoid altogether. I realized some of my responses were too vague and didn’t emphasize results. Since my session with Shelby, I’ve had interviews with two companies and have been asked for subsequent interviews with each of them. Hoping a job offer will come next!"
