Had the privilege of hearing from these four incredible female business owners last night at our second annual Powerhouse Panel at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture! We talked everything from start-up funding to how to balance all of the expectations we face as women CEOs. We learned a ton, laughed a lot, and cried just a little. Ready to take on 2025 by drowning out the noise, focusing on the goal, and pouring into our communities. This event wouldn’t have been possible without our panelists: Brynn MacLennan Snyder, Bee Love, Lauren Blumenthal, and Abigail Palacios. Thank you to our community partners Electric Photoland, Greater Spokane Incorporated, Spokane House of Social, Pine & Poppy Event Rentals , Wild Coastal Floral Studio, and Bailey Riley Photo, as well as our amazing vendors Fresh Plate and Sweet Swigs.

Still reminiscing about the incredible evening we had at The Greenhouse on Harvard in support of Project Beauty Share at Vested’s 2024 Fête en Rouge! It was so powerful having so many female entrepreneurs together in one place connecting and giving back. Our silent auction featured items and services from exclusively women-owned businesses and each package was curated to the female business owner. Electric Photoland brought the fun with their gorgeous photo booth while guests enjoyed fun drinks from The Bubble Bar and endulged in a delicious three course dinner courtesy of Green Bluff Fresh Catering Co. The gals from Linked CDA offered permanent jewelry, and we were serenaded all evening by the lovely Hannah Siglin. House of Social helped us capture all the good video content we can’t wait to share. The night would not have been possible without our community sponsor Associated Industries, an organization dedicated to helping small business who has been the biggest supporter of our group in so many ways. Photo credit goes to the always talented Jennifer DeBarros Wilkins!

So grateful for these four incredible female leaders for being part of our final day of the Vested Leadership U series! The “Can I Speak to the Manager!?” Panel was such a wonderful way to wrap up everything we learned from our industry experts over the last five weeks. Shoutout to Sara Morrison (Associated Industries), Hannah Talbot (Anam Cara Healing Center), and Stephanie Bogue (Moon Wild Studios) for sharing your knowledge and expertise of all things management and leadership. And we couldn’t have done it without the members of our first cohort! What an engaged and eager to learn group. ?? We had the best experience at Indaba Coffee’s new Monroe location - definitely consider hosting your next small gathering in one of their beautiful meeting rooms.

Our ? Living in Sync Workshop ?this week was such a special, intimate, empowering lesson in how the 9-5, hustle work culture in the US just wasn’t designed for females. The way women exist in both the work place and in our personal lives is dictated by how our hormones function in correspondence with fertility, our age, what we eat, how we move our bodies, the medicines we take, and even the moon. The topic of cycle-syncing and female hormones is becoming less taboo and more prevalent in the increasingly important conversation surrounding work-life balance. Thank you to Johanna Clark, owner of Wild Muse Wellness, for leading this conversation, Hailey Davis with Farmgirlfit for chatting all things fitness and hormones, and Erin Welch Meuer + Sam Byren, co-owners of The Lotus Spokane for hosting us in your space and leading an empowering breakout on nature working with our bodies. Liz Merriam was on hand as well to share her experiences with cycle-syncing and to give us all a tour of the beautiful space where she creates her products for Flourish Botanicals.
