Cameroon’s abortion laws are extremely restrictive. In fact, unsafe abortions account for 25% of maternal deaths in Cameroon. But that 25% isn’t just a statistic—it represents countless stories of real people, each with their own perspectives and complexities. Rutgers - For sexual and reproductive health and rights has developed a video series featuring six stories told from the perspectives of a survivor of an unsafe abortion, a parent, a healthcare worker, a youth activist, a decision maker, and a journalist.
