SHE RECOVERS has been here for you. Now, we’re asking you to be here for us. In recovery, we’ve learned that it takes strength to ask for help. And, we need your help to continue our mission. Over the past year, we have moved away from resource-intensive projects and shifted our focus on engaging more women and non-binary folks and expanding key offerings like our twice-daily SR Together online gatherings, in-person sharing circles, and identity-based support groups.? We’ve continued to provide these offerings at no cost to ensure they’re accessible to everyone. But change is hard, and this shift has drastically impacted our financial situation. SHE RECOVERS is facing a severe budget deficit. We’ve already made deep cuts to sustain the organization…and we’ve had to do it again for November and December by pausing some programs and reducing staffing by 50%. We urgently need your help to raise $80,000 by the end of the year. Thanks to several of our generous supporters, every dollar donated up to $40,000 will be matched between November 1 and December 31, 2024 — doubling the difference you make!? Exciting news, the official launch of the SHE RECOVERS Support for the Next Generation Gathering will be next Tuesday, November 19, 2024! If you are a woman or a nonbinary individual between the ages of 18 and 36, this dedicated space is designed specifically for you! We understand that being a young person in recovery comes with its own triumphs, trials, and tribulations, and you deserve a supportive place to connect and heal. This group we be gathering every other Tuesday @ 6:30 PM PT / 9:30 PM ET.
