Today, we attended a crucial press conference with U.S. Representatives Rosa DeLauro and Earl Blumenauer, along with our Chief Public Policy Officer, Kevin Roy. They discussed the dangerous de minimis loophole. This loophole lets 4 million packages enter the U.S. duty-free with minimal inspections if they're under $800. This results in our country being flooded with fentanyl. As Kevin said, "Preventing fentanyl from entering the country is a high priority. A renewed focus on drug prevention and ending addiction stigma is essential." Shatterproof supports efforts to protect communities. We are committed to preventing fentanyl and other illicit drugs from entering the country.
