Every Friday in October, Sharp Rees-Stealy team members are wearing pink to honor breast cancer survivors, remember those we have lost and promote the importance of early detection through screening mammograms. This month, we're making it easier than ever to get a mammogram. Five exam rooms and one procedure room can now be found on the first floor of Sharp Grossmont Medical Plaza, all with fresh paint on the walls, new millwork and sharper finishing. This exciting renovation has created a new home for Sharp Rees-Stealy oncology services; ear, nose and throat (ENT) care; and audiology services. The project was brought to life thanks to over 1,900 donors who combined to raise nearly $500,000 for the Foundations of Sharp HealthCare. Melissa Major, chief administrative officer of Sharp Rees-Stealy, and Juliana Chan, a Sharp facilities planner analyst, spearheaded the renovations, which are set to be fully completed in 2025.
