The inspiration for The Bright Spots in Healthcare concept started from a 1990 solution in Vietnam by Jerry Sternin. He gathered mothers to observe healthy children and found they fed their kids crabs, shrimp, and greens instead of rice, and gave more meals with fewer calories. By sharing these practices, the malnutrition rate dropped by 20% in two years. This shows the power of shared knowledge to solve big problems.
