For the past 8 months,?#ShareOurSpare?has been working with JPMorgan Chase and their Force for Good program to assess, upgrade and implement our inventory management system. Our team is small, but mighty so pro bono projects like this are incredibly meaningful to our commitment to continuous quality improvement. The time, energy, and expertise that the Force for Good team was able to bring to this project ensured not only that it happened, but that is was executed with intention and integrity. The legacy of this work will live on and create countless efficiencies to our work stream. Each month we impact thousands of families by ensuring they have their basic needs met. It is not without the support of this incredible community. Our mission, first and foremost, is about the babies and the families we serve. We believe in providing an equitable and strong start to life, but a huge and often unrecognized bi-product of that work is our impact in sustainable practices and the circular economy. With the collection and redistribution of millions of baby items every year, we are not only keeping items out of landfills, but we are reducing water waste and carbon emissions. According to a new advisory regarding parental mental health and well-being, @vivekmurthy , the U.S. Surgeon General, reports that over the last decade, parents have been consistently more likely to report experiencing high levels of stress compared to other adults. When stress is severe or prolonged, it can have a deleterious effect; 41% of parents say that most days they are so stressed they cannot function and; 48% say that most days their stress is completely overwhelming compared to other adults.
