Last week, our CEO, Hélène Lanctuit, had the opportunity to speak at the Sustainability in Motion Conference during the Sustainable Food Management panel. Hélène joined an insightful discussion alongside Alessia Eramo (Morris County MUA) and Fred Rohs (South Jersey Industries/RNG Energy Company), moderated by Gary Sondermeyer, Vice President of Operations at Bayshore Recycling Corp. A huge thank you to our friend Gary, for bringing this incredible panel together to explore solutions for reducing food waste holistically with better planning at the county level, redistribution of surplus food to our community in need and valorization of the remaining non edible portion through anaerobic digestion. The engaging conversation and thoughtful questions from attendees highlighted the growing momentum toward a more sustainable future. ????? Together, we can continue driving meaningful change in food recovery and sustainability! #ShareMyMeals #FightFoodInsecurity #EndHomelessness #MealRecovery #CommunityImpact? #SustainabilityInMotion #SustainableFuture #NewJersey #MealRecoveryCoalition #MealRecoveryRevolution

We’re thrilled to announce that Will Collins has officially joined Share My Meals Inc. (SMM) as our Board Member & Treasurer! Will’s journey with SMM began in 2022 when, as an intern at Johnson & Johnson (J&J), he expressed his passion for the nonprofit world to former SMM board member Stéphanie DIDIER - LE RETIF. Recognizing his dedication, Stephanie invited Will to support our operations team as a finance partner. ?? Since then, Will has been an integral part of our finance committee, offering expert financial guidance to our COO and Operations team helping forecast budgets, manage spending, and optimize systems like #QuickBooks. ??? Beyond the spreadsheets, Will rolls up his sleeves each week to personally recover meals from J&J’s headquarters in New Brunswick allowing him to build meaningful connections with J&J cafeteria workers and volunteers from our nonprofit organization partner Elijah's Promise. Currently part of J&J’s Finance Leadership and Development Program, Will brings valuable expertise from his role in Investor Relations, where he supports quarterly earnings reports and key investor activities. When he’s not busy crunching numbers or recovering meals, you can find Will on a tennis court, hiking trails, or volunteering with his church. His deep commitment to community service, rooted in years of leading youth programs and fundraising initiatives, makes him an incredible addition to our board. ?? Welcome, Will! We’re so grateful for your leadership, heart, and dedication to helping Share My Meals grow and thrive. #ShareMyMeals #BoardMember #NonprofitLeadership #FoodInsecurity #FoodWaste #CommunityImpact #NewJersey #MealRecoveryCoalition #MealRecoveryRevolution
