Accelerating gender equality in business and beyond
关于我们
Shape Talent is an award-winning gender equity consulting firm with a vision to accelerate gender equality in business and beyond. It is 2024 and we are 5 generations away from achieving gender parity, at current rates of change. Men are still 4 times more likely to make it on to an executive committee role than a woman starting out on her career at the same time. Research also shows that men are more easily promoted, respectfully viewed and earn more than women for doing jobs in which they are equally qualified and equivalently rated. ???????????????? ?????? ???????? ???????????????????? ???? ?????? ?? ???????????????? ???? ??????????'?? ???????????? ??????????????????????: https://www.shapetalent.com/three-barriers-to-womens-progression-what-organisations-can-do We have three key offerings: GENDER EQUITY CONSULTING Using our proprietary Three Barriers model, we conduct a diagnostic to understand where changes will have the greatest impact. Strategies are designed collaboratively to dismantle barriers, create support structures and ensure that solutions are able to thrive within the ethos and structure of your organisation. DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES FOR WOMEN Our programmes typically run over 6-12 months and target the areas that make the biggest difference to women - and which are not usually covered in traditional leadership development programmes, such as authentic leadership, building a strategic network, navigating power and politcs, dealing with Imposter Syndrome, and visibility. BREAKTHROUGH COACHING FOR WOMEN We specialise in helping women reach their career aspirations. Whether that be achieving a C-suite role in the future, hitting the ground running after a promotion, or helping to return to the workforce after parental leave. We offer both 1-to-1 executive coaching as well as powerful group coaching circles. Our work has been featured in The Guardian, Psychologies, Forbes.com, Business Leader, We Are The City and many more publications.

And the Double Burden often gets perpetuated and exacerbated at work, despite the best intentions. If you’d like to learn more about this dynamic, and hear our evidence-based recommendations on how organsations can support women, take a look at our Three Barriers research paper. https://lnkd.in/eb27T2MD #ThreeBarriers #EDI #GenderEquity #WomenAtWork

IOD Director of the Year - EDI ‘24 | Management Today Women in Leadership Power List ‘24 | Global Diversity List ‘23 (Snr Execs) | D&I Consultancy of the Year | UN Women CSW67-69 participant | Accelerating gender equity
International Women's Day feels particularly poignant for me this year. In the anti-work, anti-DEI / EDI world in which we find ourselves at the moment, with progress in gender equality having stalled, it can feel tough. Large companies are publicly dismantling their EDI commitments, often claiming 'we've made good progress, we don't need them any more'. But this just isn't true. The UN predict we are still 140 years away from achieving gender parity at managerial level around the world. There is a massive disconnect between perception and reality which is constantly in the media and in my feeds, making the task at hand - gender equality - feel just a bit further out of reach. My wonderful colleague Priscila Pereira Law PhD FCIPD reminded me recently that history shows us that resistance grows as we near a critical tipping point. Thus, if you're not getting pushback you're not doing something important. So I have been delighted this week to have been able to spend time with different organisations and industries, commemorating International Women's Day with a clear focus on what we can all do to dismantle the structural barriers that impede women's career progression. Between a discussion with WITS Ireland (Women in Technology and Science) today, to a client webinar yesterday and a presentation and fireside chat last night, I have had my cup filled by people of all genders leaning in to gender equality and reinforcing their commitment to it. A huge thank you to all involved in organising and attending last night's event, kindly hosted by RPC. Special thanks to Rebecca Cater (Centre for Legal Leadership), Alexandra Anderson (Partner at RPC and Chair of the FIG Network), and Helen Evans representing the fabulous The Quorum Initiative for women. Happy international women's day to all. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2025 #GenderEquality

Gender equity benefits everyone—and achieving it requires everyone. As we approach IWD 2025, much of the conversation rightly focuses on women. But there’s an equally powerful role for men in enabling gender equity. In our LinkedIn Live with Robert Baker, Trustee at UN Women UK, we explored the critical role of men as allies in driving change. Robert shared thought-provoking insights on: ?? Why gender equity isn’t just a “women’s issue”—it benefits businesses, economies, and society as a whole. ?? The power of everyday actions—how small but intentional shifts in behaviour can create more inclusive workplaces. ?? How to move from bystander to active ally—because real change happens when everyone gets involved. Missed it? Catch the full recording here. You can also find it as part of our Breaking Barriers with Rachel Schofield podcast series on your favourite podcast app. https://lnkd.in/gjZ-qMve ?? Want to create real, lasting change in your organisation? Let’s talk. #IWD2025 #GenderEquity #Allyship #Inclusion #ShapeTalent
