Accelerating gender equality in business and beyond
关于我们
Shape Talent is an award-winning gender equity consulting firm with a vision to accelerate gender equality in business and beyond. It is 2024 and we are 5 generations away from achieving gender parity, at current rates of change. Men are still 4 times more likely to make it on to an executive committee role than a woman starting out on her career at the same time. Research also shows that men are more easily promoted, respectfully viewed and earn more than women for doing jobs in which they are equally qualified and equivalently rated. ???????????????? ?????? ???????? ???????????????????? ???? ?????? ?? ???????????????? ???? ??????????'?? ???????????? ??????????????????????: https://www.shapetalent.com/three-barriers-to-womens-progression-what-organisations-can-do We have three key offerings: GENDER EQUITY CONSULTING Using our proprietary Three Barriers model, we conduct a diagnostic to understand where changes will have the greatest impact. Every 10 minutes, a woman is killed. Today we mark the International day of the elimination of violence against women. It's a modern tragedy that we have a day in the year to mark the unbelievably sad reality of gender-based violence. Globally, an estimated 736 million women have experienced physical and/or sexual violence. - Girls are at particular risk of violence—1 in 4 adolescent girls is abused by their partners. - 16% to 58% of women globally experience technology-facilitated gender-based violence. Generation Z and Millennials are the most affected. - 70% of women in conflict, war, and humanitarian crisis, experience gender-based violence. - Globally, female genital mutilation has increased by 15% compared to data from eight years ago. - For at least 51,100 women in 2023, the cycle of gender-based violence ended with one final and brutal act—their murder by partners and family members. The 16 Days of Activism is an opportunity to revitalise commitments, call for accountability and action from decision-makers, as the world approaches the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action in 2025 – a visionary blueprint for achieving gender equality and women’s and girls’ rights everywhere. Read more about the UNiTE Campaign framework, “Towards 30 years of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action: UNiTE to End Violence Against Women and Girls This article provides some clear recommendations that everyone can take to end the abuse and killing of women. I'd encourage everyone to take part. #NoExcuse #16Days #GenderEquality https://lnkd.in/e5y5YxcP
