Positive customer service experience, strong phone skills, and basic automotive experience a plus, but not required. Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30am- 5:30pm with a one hour lunch. One Saturday per month. SUMMARY: This position answers directly to the Business Development Center Manager (BDC) while resolving various customer sales inquiries, conducting sales or service related marketing campaigns, receiving incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments. BDC Representative may be assigned duties related to either Sales, Service or the Parts Department depending training path. ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following: ? Communicate with BDC customers and prospects via phone, internet, text message, in person and social networking sites. ? Conduct telemarketing and internet related sales/service campaigns. ? Schedule appointments for prospects through BDC Manager. ? Meet and exceed daily goals and objectives. ? Maintain accurate records of daily activities. ? Make comprehensive notes in the dealership CRM reflecting all customer/prospect communications. ? Maintain working knowledge of all dealership products and services. ? Check e-mail frequently and provide a quality lead response immediately. ? Deliver messages intended for other departments promptly. ? Coordinate internet promotions with other dealership sales promotions and advertising. ? Maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business. ? Know and understands the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automobile sales. ? Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers. ? Attend product and sales training as requested by the BDC Manager. ? Attend sales meetings. ? Maintain professional appearance.

Customer Interaction Mastery: Greet customers warmly, assess vehicle issues accurately, and articulate service recommendations with finesse. ? Estimation Expertise: Provide detailed and accurate estimates for labor and parts, ensuring transparency and trust. ? Service Excellence: Maintain high customer satisfaction standards by keeping customers informed, obtaining authorizations, and delivering top-notch service. Job Description: ? Sells and schedules needed service work in the service department. ? Schedules service appointments. Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible. ? Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information. ? Writes up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order. ? Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service. ? Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications. ? Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts. ? Establishes "promised time." Checks with dispatcher, if necessary. ? Obtains customer's signature on repair order; provides customer with a copy. ? Establishes customer's method of payment. Obtains credit approval, if necessary.

Maintain presence on service floor when not engaged in porter duties listed below. ? Watch for customer vehicles to pull up to doors and open door immediately. Keep the Service Floor empty of cars. Keep all vehicles on Service Drive pulled up as to leave room for future guests to pull in. Write parking space # on key tag after parking vehicle. ? Transport keys and repair orders to Group Leader’s in a timely manner. ? Pull vehicles up for guests upon Re-delivery after Service work immediately upon request. ? Thank customer for their business and tell them to have a nice day/night. (All with a SMILE!). ? Remove all floor mats, seat covers and hat tags. Look for any items that may have been left in vehicle by technicians. Check for grease on floor, fingerprints, etc. ? Prior to pulling up vehicle, thoroughly remove all ice and snow from all windows. Keep the Service floor empty of cars
