Based in Southern California, the SGV LGBTQ Center’s mission is to promote a safe and inclusive San Gabriel Valley for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. The SGV LGBTQ Center fosters advocacy, education, and respect for individuals, and provides resources which encourage cultural diversity, healthy living, and full achievement of personal potential. The SGV LGBTQ Center’s vision is an inclusive San Gabriel Valley, free from all forms of discrimination, which promotes community engagement grounded in fairness and equality for all. Since its founding in 2011, the Center has been an agent of positive change--increasing the visibility of the regional LGBTQ community within the general population, enhancing interconnection across the San Gabriel Valley LGBTQ community, and providing locally available and culturally relevant programs and services.
