“For almost 30 years, WestConn has offered a Master of Science in Music Education, and it has been very successful,” said Dr. Jeremy Wiggins, coordinator of choral activities and graduate studies, in a news release. “Many Connecticut music educators have earned their M.S. from Western Connecticut State University. Dr. Huang brings a wealth of experience as a professor of finance at the Ancell School of Business, a researcher in financial economics, and a passionate advocate for leadership and career readiness. With her distinguished background, she is uniquely positioned to guide students through this transformative leadership journey. Made possible by the generous endowment from Mr. and Mrs. W. Jason Hancock,?the Hancock Student Leadership Program empowers WestConn students by integrating experiential learning, mentorship, and field experiences to develop the next generation of ethical, resilient, and innovative leaders.
