Don't forget! The November Chapter meeting is Thursday! We hope to see you there. Register on the website to let us know you are coming. Lunch will be provided by one of our generous corporate sponsors, Gresham Smith (thank you!) Our technical presentation will be Fire Door Inspection and Testing 101 presented by Ruben Garcia, CHFM,CFPS,CLSS-HC,CFI I,FDAI,NICET and Jesse Flores. The requirement to inspect and test fire doors annually has now been in effect since July 5, 2016, yet there continues to be a huge disparity of identified fire door deficiencies when it comes to outsourcing fire door inspections. Attendees will learn how to properly inspect and test a fire door assembly, how to insource fire door inspections, and also some basic remediation solutions to common fire door deficiencies.
