SF-Marin Food Bank

A local CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) team invited me to help at the SF-Marin Food Bank. Talk about an efficient set up! Under two hours, we assembled close to 400 bags of fresh foods for the community. I am amazed this one organization has such a great impact in the lives of others. With a happy heart, I am thankful for the opportunity to give back. ??

Scouting For America troop members from San Francisco and Marin collected over 40,000 pounds of food and funds through their annual Scouting for Food drive! Thank you, Golden Gate Area Council-Boy Scouts of America for working hard to end hunger! ????

Sink into a night that celebrates the art of food and cinema at Dandelion Chocolate’s 12 Nights of Chocolate, where community and flavor meet on-screen and on the plate. This year, they’re screening Big Night, the 1996 gem that brings Italian-American dreams—and feasts—to life. Leading the kitchen will be Top Chef alum Michelle Minori, joined by her team from La Cocina - Nonprofit Kitchen Incubator and the talented Shelley Lindgren with the pizzaiolos from A16 . And yes, Dandelion Chocolate’s own Chef Stephen Durfee will be closing the night with a dessert worthy of the big screen. And did we mention that proceeds will benefit the Food Bank? She’ll join other food justice leaders to discuss how farmer’s markets, food banks, and chefs are collaborating to build sustainable solutions to food insecurity. ??
