Rebuilding lives by providing refuge and pathways to stability for people experiencing homelessness and poverty.

关于我们

St. Francis House rebuilds lives by providing refuge and pathways to stability for adults experiencing homelessness and poverty. Every day of the year, we enable individuals to meet their basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter. We transform lives using a holistic approach to understanding and addressing behavioral health, housing, and employment needs. We commit ourselves to helping those we serve achieve renewed lives of dignity and self-determination. St. Francis House is nonprofit and nonsectarian. Our mission and approach are simple: We believe in the worth of every human being, and we know from experience that when people have the right tools, change can happen. Big change. That’s why we provide our guests with everything they need to reclaim their dignity and rebuild their lives. We will ensure that we are doing the very best we can for those we serve by continuing to build a data-driven, outcomes-oriented culture that emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and growth. To achieve our vision, the agency is making significant investments in our staff across the agency. If you want to make an impact in the lives of others, we want to invest in you.? We are especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity within our organization. St. Francis?House affirms its policy of providing equal opportunity for all applicants and employees regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, age, sex/gender, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, genetic information, or other legally protected status.

  • For many of our guests at St. Francis House, art is more than an outlet — it’s a pathway to confidence, self-expression, and new opportunities. Edward, a talented artist in our Margaret Stewart Lindsay Art Studio, creates completed artwork every single day. His goal? To open galleries across the country and share his vision with the world. Expressive #arttherapy programs like ours provide guests with a space to explore their creativity, build confidence, and work toward their dreams. The impact of art is profound, and we’re proud to support artists like Edward on their journey. Read more about Edward’s story on our blog: ?? https://bit.ly/4l0yjoi

  • From guest to graduate to manager, Katarian’s journey with #StFrancisHouse and our Moving Ahead Program (MAP) has been nothing short of inspiring. Now leading the Sal's Pizza on Tremont Street, his incredible story was recently featured on WCVB Channel 5 and NBC10 Boston ?? But that's not all — Lupoli Companies is stepping up in a big way, matching register donations up to $10,000 across all eight Boston Sal’s locations through the end of March! Patrons can give $1, $2, or $5 at checkout to support St. Francis House and help more people like Katarian #rebuild their lives. ?? And in an unforgettable act of generosity, Demorian Linton, CEO of Inertia Resources, Inc. surprised Katarian with a full year of free energy for his family — a powerful & impactful gift for someone who has worked so hard to move forward. Next time you’re craving a slice, head to Sal’s, support St. Francis House, and celebrate the power of second chances! ???
