Where does the youth soccer system fit into the global football landscape? We hosted an insightful discussion on the topic as part of our?Raising The Game?fundraising campaign on Saturday evening. We were honored to have?Matt Niehaus,?President of Eagle Football Holdings, owners of Olympique Lyonnais in France, Crystal Palace in the United Kingdom, Botafogo in Brazil, and the Royal Daring Club of Brussels in Belgium and?Jeremy Gunn,?Head Coach at Stanford Men’s soccer, one of only two coaches to ever win three consecutive National Championships. Our Raising the Game campaign has raised over $2 million dollars from generous donors, giving access to players and families in need since our inception 10 years ago. This has allowed us to coach and help develop over 7,000 players, put 100+ players into college soccer programs but most importantly allowed us to develop players of character, perseverance, dedication and commitment.?It is our intention that players can utilize these lessons beyond the field and in their life's journey.
