Thank you, Adam Heffernan, for participating in this panel! We couldn't have done it without leaders like you willing to share your experiences.
I recently had the opportunity to attend the SFCS Architects ByDesign Conference in Roanoke, VA. Excellent venue to connect with friends, colleagues, and new acquaintances. In several conversations, we heard that optimism for development is growing as operators refine their vision and take action to seize new opportunities. With rising demand and a focus on growth strategies, it's these forward-thinking organizations that will shape the future of senior living. Additional highlights of the conference included a keynote speech on the power of human connection and conversation, innovative ideas from Virginia Tech architecture students, and NIC’s research team’s insights on the quantifiable benefits of senior living. I was honored to participate in a panel discussing the development process and key steps for communities to consider as they begin expansions or new communities. Thank you, Curtis R Jennings III, AIA, NCARB and team - look forward to next year!
