Just a couple of KICK-ass rigs and people making movie magic happen at the Philadelphia International Airport and Subaru Park! ??+??+??= ??? Read below for insight on how our director, DP, and key grip worked together to make the soccer ball come to life. From Director of Photography Ian Mosley-Duffy: “Tim Harris (Director) and I talked about doing a high energy spot where this soccer ball magically travels around the PHL airport ultimately ending up at the Philadelphia Union soccer stadium. Knowing that we needed to accomplish this feat in one 10 hour day with minimal crew while navigating a working airport, our key grip Conor O'mara?was instrumental in creating two unique ball spinning rigs - One we could operate handheld with a drill to spin the ball and another utilizing bearings to push the ball along the ground.” From Key Grip Conor O’Mara: “I found some pictures of other similar setups, and took elements from?them to design the two rigs.
