The U.S. Council on Environmental Quality, at the command of Donald Trump, is removing all of the regulations implementing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) (https://lnkd.in/g2xmrK76). All federal agencies will be self-regulating with respect to NEPA if this action is completed. Also, Executive Order 14154 restricts the content of assessments. The public comment period is in effect and the Society for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry has prepared comments which are being shared prior to submission.
