For #womeninconstructionweek, we wanted to take a take time to show our appreciation for their commitment to bring normalcy to the lives of our customers. Because when disaster strikes, SERVPRO Team George is “Here to Help.”

Being in the restoration industry, in the Tampa Bay area, we know first-hand that when disaster hits it can be devastating. We were fortunate enough to have the Pasco County Property Appraiser, Mr. Mike Wells, come to our monthly Lunch and Learn held at Seafire Grill here in New Port Richey. Mr. Wells took time to speak on how to ensure your property’s value is secure when disaster strikes and provided some amazing insights into how the community is growing and how that affects the tax basis. Mr. Wells also educated our group on exemptions and discounts; how to file, important deadlines, and criteria for each. Thank you, Mike, for a very informative afternoon! We also want to thank our partners, The Mold Guyz, Team Farrell, and NaturZone Pest Control who helped make this month’s Lunch and Learn so successful.?

Last Friday, we held our Lunch & Learn! Thank you to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department for helping inform our community leaders of the importance of being prepared for any active threat! With these threats on the rise in communities across the country, it’s vital we as a community come together and prepare for whatever is thrown our way! The Hillsborough County deputies helped train our attendees: -?????????How to recognize potential signs of workplace violence. -?????????How to prepare and handle being confronted by an active threat. -?????????Managing the aftermath of workplace violence. -?????????And so much more! Thank you to our amazing partners, The Mold Guyz and NaturZone Pest Control, for assisting us in putting on such an informative event! With the continued support of our partners and venues like American Social, we can continue to provide information to our community leaders to assist in their preparedness in the future!
