The First Thanksgiving Staff Favorite Recipe is Here! ?? We’re kicking things off with a sweet treat that’s a total crowd-pleaser: Pecan Pie Bars! ?? These bars pack all the rich, nutty goodness of traditional pecan pie into easy-to-serve squares—perfect for sharing at your Thanksgiving table (or sneaking a few for yourself). Ingredients: 16.5 oz Pillsbury Sugar cookie dough roll 1 Cup light brown Sugar 1/2 tsp. Salt 1/2 tsp. Baking soda 2 Tbsp. Flour 2 eggs 1 Tsp. Vanilla extract 2 Cups pecan pieces Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees Crumble sugar cookie dough and press evenly in the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan. And bake for 20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. In a bowl mix light brown sugar, salt, baking soda, and flour. Mix well Add eggs, vanilla, and melted butter to brown sugar mixture. Mix well Add pecan pieces and mix well. Pour pecan mixture on top of cookie crust and spread evenly and make for 15 minutes. Let cool for 2 hours, cut, and serve.
