Drawing from her groundbreaking research, she introduces the E.M.P.A.T.H.Y.? method, a seven-step approach to enhance empathy in everyday life. The book covers the science behind empathy, tools for recognizing and fostering it, and strategies for teaching it to children. Dr. Riess also addresses the challenges of digital communication, the role of art in empathy, and how leaders can use empathy in politics and business. Ultimately, the book emphasizes the importance of self-compassion and recognizing shared humanity to build stronger emotional connections.
