Elevating the effectiveness and impact of the leaders of our city.
关于我们
The Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation (PLF) is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization that was founded over forty years ago out of love for the city of Pittsburgh. PLF is honored to be a founding member of Leadership Foundations, Inc., a worldwide group of organizations developing leaders to “drive the wheel of change in their cities." In our early years, the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation helped to establish dozens of other not-for-profits that are still making a profound difference in the lives of people throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. In our recent years, we have recognized that the greatest ongoing contribution of PLF is to equip, connect and mobilize leaders of our city for the common good. We equip leaders through two faith-based leadership development experiences - the Leaders Collaborative (LC) and the Emerging Leaders Collaborative (ELC). We connect leaders through Pittsburgh Prays. We mobilize leaders to address food insecurity in our city through Amen to Action food packing events. When you donate to PLF, you are helping to equip, connect and mobilize leaders from every sphere of influence in our city for the common good. Thank you for your generosity over the decades that has enabled the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation to be a catalyst for good in our amazing city of Pittsburgh!

Prayer. Unity. Vision. Last Friday, leaders from across Pittsburgh gathered at Acrisure Stadium to pray, seek God’s wisdom, and submit to a greater vision for our city. In Christ, we found hope, strength, and the power of unity. At Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation, we believe in bringing leaders together for the good of our city. Join us in seeking God’s blessing over Pittsburgh today! . . . A Prayer for Pittsburgh ?? Heavenly Father, We come before You with humble hearts, lifting up the city of Pittsburgh. Lord, we ask for Your blessing to rest upon this city—its people, its leaders, its businesses, and its churches. May Your presence fill every street, every home, and every gathering place with Your peace and love. We pray for wisdom and integrity for those in positions of leadership. Guide their decisions so that justice, compassion, and righteousness prevail. Strengthen the hands of those who serve—teachers, first responders, healthcare workers, and all who labor for the good of this community. Lord, we ask for Your provision over the struggling, hope for the discouraged, and healing for the broken. May revival sweep through our city, drawing hearts closer to You. Let Pittsburgh be known not just for its bridges and industries, but for its faith, unity, and pursuit of Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Leadership isn’t just something you learn—it’s something you experience. You will learn much more through your real-life experiences and those of your mentors—leadership lived out—than you ever will from a textbook. At our Leadership Collaboratives, you won’t just be told what to do to be an effective leader. You’ll engage in interactive discussions, hands-on lessons, and assessments designed to help you: ? Identify your strengths and weaknesses ? Create a healthy culture ? Elevate the leaders around you ? Lead change with confidence ? Build lasting, trusting relationships ? Influence others for the common good ? Achieve your leadership potential These amazing "Collabs" run on two tracks: one for Senior Leaders from business, non-profit, and church roles, and another for Emerging Leaders to develop the skills necessary to lead their generation to a higher place. What sets this collaborative experience apart from others is what we witness through prayer around the table. God is using the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation today to draw generations together in Him across this city. Real leadership is built through real experiences. Who’s Mentoring You? And Who Are You Mentoring? Take a moment to reflect—who has invested in your life? Who has helped guide you through challenges, shaped your values, and poured wisdom into your journey? Some of our mentors may no longer be with us, but their impact continues. And now, it’s our turn. The next generation needs leaders who will invest in them, just as someone once invested in us. Perhaps you are looking for a mentor or an opportunity to develop your leadership skills. At the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation, we’re bridging generations through Leadership Collaboratives—creating spaces where senior and emerging leaders come together in faith, learning, and prayer.
