Not enough is said about my little-known co-founder, Lindsey Cambardella. She’s the most genuine person I’ve ever met—smart, tough, and relentlessly focused. Lindsey Cambardella and I's journey began in #Atlanta when we met while applying for law and grad school and blossomed on the sacred grounds of?The University of Georgia?North Campus, fueled by coffee and PB&J picnics on the benches between the?University of Georgia - College of Environment + Design?and the?University of Georgia School of Law. Our journey continued as we married (2012), welcomed two little Dawgs (Perry & Wynn), and built fruitful careers. ? AI is here, and it’s not going anywhere. Like electricity, it’s rapidly flowing into nearly every function of our daily lives—and our profession is no exception. While AI still can’t physically plant a plant, tools like Plant Nerd AI can already guide you step by step on how to do it. Right now, our edge as designers is our “in-situ” intelligence: the ability to read and understand the nuanced context of a specific environment. But even that advantage is being challenged as AI grows more sophisticated and accounts for an ever-greater range of parameters. So, how do you feel about AI in landscape design? Are you excited? Concerned? Intrigued? We have an AI product that we are experimenting with. I need five volunteers that would like to give it a try and in-turn share about the experience. One catch, you have to be in the ServeScape delivery area.
