The first step to getting care for your mental health is to feel safe with your provider. We have a theory – stay with us: Dental Assistants Recognition Week and National Dentist Day are in the same week because the success of a dental clinic comes down to teamwork. This theory comes from seeing it happen in our clinics every ???? single ???? day. ???? Whether in our fixed-site clinic or Mobile Dental Unit, teamwork not only makes the dream work – it helps ensure our patients have a high-quality experience from the moment they walk in. While the kind feedback you see in each graphic only mentions our dentists by name, there’s much more to it than what we could fit the frame. In all of the full reviews, patients mentioned how incredible our dental assistants and patient services associates are. We’re grateful for you all, the compassionate care you provide, and the teamwork that makes it happen. ??????

From the halls of Santiago High School to the hills of the Crown Valley Community Center, our Mobile Teams proudly traversed the county to provide care on Saturday. Despite 25 miles separating our Dental Mobile Team from our Vision and Medical Mobile Teams, we remained united in our goal to show up for our community. Our Mobile Vision and Medical teams served parents and students at?Santiago High School?with medical and vision screenings. In Laguna Nigel, we joined?CalOptima?and other partners while providing dental screenings and x-rays for older adults. What a gift to be able to serve such a diverse group of patients in just one day! Meeting our community where they are, wherever that is, is what it’s all about for us – no matter how far away. Thank you so much to?CalOptima?and?Garden Grove Unified School District?allowing us to provide care! ????

Let’s keep building momentum to advocate for Community Health Centers and the 32.5 million patients they serve, regardless of ability to pay or insurance status. Health centers' innovative, comprehensive, and cost-effective care is integral to the U.S. health system. As NACHC’s Sonja W. Bachus, MJ, Senior Vice President of PCA/HCCN Relations, said?at the 2025 Policy & Issues Forum, "If we are going to transform health in this country, it will only happen with Community Health Centers at the forefront." #WisdomWednesday #HealthCenters

Happy Valentine’s Day…or should we say Palentine’s Day? ?? In the spirit of celebrating love in its many forms, we spent some time with the folks who help make our workdays more joyful. Call them our office besties, Palentine’s, or partners in crime. It’s a gift to be able to share how they shape our days and make them better. ????

#WearRedDay has now become one of our many traditions, but it's much deeper than donning red on the first Friday in February. As a whole, the Hispanic and Latinx community disproportionately experiences more cardiovascular related illnesses. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death for women in our community. This fact is sobering – but we believe the more we know, the more empowerment we can provide. From our healthcare providers to our care coordination team, we're dedicated to helping our patients live heart-healthy lives during February and beyond. ???? American Heart Association

From the moment our mobile units arrived at Orange County Heritage Council's Black History Parade, were thrilled to meet and provide care for so many new faces! Whether patients needed a quick blood pressure check or were overdue for a vision exam, it was a gift and privilege to show up and serve. The wise words of Dr. Alexa Canady come to mind (see last slide!) when we think of our approach on how we care for patients, whether they're in our clinics or mobile units. Meeting patients with compassion where they are, wherever that may be, is always the goal. ????
