Carla, como productora, exploró la realidad de estos ni?os invisibilizados por el sistema. Durante 1.5 a?os de investigación, descubrió estadísticas alarmantes en EEUU. Entre ellas 74% de los jóvenes con padres encarcelados terminan en el sistema penitenciario. ?Pero saben qué? En Puerto Rico, no existen datos correccionales actualizados desde 2019. El weekend pasado, decidí hacer algo re-energizante para salir de la rutina: me uní al #GlobalServiceJam que organizó SeriouslyCreative en la Fundación Banco Popular. ?? ?Una experiencia increíble! Me llevo unos aprendizajes: ?? Entender antes de resolver. En la prisa por encontrar soluciones nos saltamos el paso más importante: detenernos para comprender el problema real. ?? El trabajo en equipo lo cambia todo. No necesitas conocer a la gente de antemano; si hay un propósito en común, emergen las ideas. ?? Los retos que enfrentamos como sociedad son complejos y requieren innovación. No hay respuestas sencillas, pero sí formas nuevas de buscarlas. #disruptionasservice Y algo en lo que sigo creyendo: resolver problemas colectivos requiere humildad. No basta con análisis o percepción individual. Hay que tener diálogo con quienes viven con la situación y verlo con una perspectiva de sistema. We started by problem framing and uncovered four powerful challenges: 1?? How might we spark curiosity in young adults so they can make informed decisions about their future? 2?? How might we lighten the load for caregivers? 3?? How might we help busy professionals integrate local produce into their daily routine? 4?? How might we help high school students develop adaptive tools to confidently navigate their challenges? Time to go ?? ???????? ???? ???????? ???????????? - learn from them, uncover real insights. So, our teams hit the streets, nearby malls, and even supermarkets to talk to people, uncover their true pains, gains, wishes, and needs. We also had virtual interviews, desktop research, and integrated AI into their discovery process. It was a high-energy time where teams played a strategic card game to uncover their problem-solving and innovation styles. Just like in basketball, knowing your teammates’ strengths—and understanding the biases that cause friction—can be the key to turning conflict into game-winning collaboration. The results? ?? We showcased, celebrated, and shared feedback in true Global Service Jam style—full of creativity, collaboration, and a whole lot of heart. ????
