We are delighted to introduce Christiana Birkeland, our new Donor Stewardship and Engagement Manager, who recently joined the Serengeti Care Foundation. Christiana is driven by her love for people and her empathetic nature. Growing up, she was inspired by her grandmother’s service to the community, which ignited her passion for helping others. Throughout her life, she has volunteered for various nonprofit organizations, including DAWN, the Kent and Renton Downtown Partnerships, and the Auburn Humane Society. One of her most rewarding achievements was launching and running a community initiative called “Friendship Matchmaking " during the pandemic. This initiative aimed to combat loneliness and foster connection and belonging within the community. Christiana is eager to bring her background in leadership, event management, sales, and volunteer coordination to our team, and she looks forward to meeting everyone. Originally from Washington, Christiana has an amazing 11-year-old daughter and is recently engaged! If you invite her out for pickleball, karaoke, dancing, paddleboarding, or any holiday-related events, she promises to bring lots of enthusiasm. Please join us in welcoming Christiana to the Serengeti Care Foundation. We are excited to have her on board and are confident that her skills and experience will greatly contribute to our ongoing success.
