Last week, we had the honor of hosting a workshop at the Merage Undergraduate Student Association (MUSA) Business Conference! Our session, "Students to Founders", was led by our VP of Founder's Education, Shreya Mawandia, and focused on the Sigma Eta Pi framework for entrepreneurship. We guided participants on how to approach real-world problems through startups ?? We were privileged to have exceptional industry experts from the venture capital and startup space—Jingjie (JJ) L., Lucky Sandhu, and Kyle Grimsrud—share their invaluable insights and experiences with the group ?? Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this workshop a success!

This past week we had the opportunity to host Alexander Yoon, Head of US for Liner, to speak to our community about his experience working at the company for the past 5 years! Seeing his journey as the 5th hire to now leading their office in the US gave our members a unique perspective on what it takes to be entrepreneurial from a global sense as well as how we can leverage data to pivot startups towards solving more impactful issues. Liner is an AI search engine for students that helps them complete research more efficiently. Our Seraph Awards gained added significance this year as we not only celebrated excellent companies but also collaborated with brilliant students who are shaping the future of our industry. The Seraph Manufacturing Excellence Leadership Program exceeded expectations. Students from the main Michigan institutions, and others across the United States applied. Four students were chosen as this year's winners, and each gained valuable experience and had the opportunity to connect with esteemed professionals. To close the program, they attended the Awards event, where we had the pleasure of hearing from two of them about the long-term effects of this experience on their careers: "This was an incredible experience that helped steer me towards a career where I can bridge the gap between sustainability and innovation." - Mariana Flores "This journey gave me an entirely new perspective on how the manufacturing world really works and how I can fit into this world.
