SEO and I? It wasn’t love at first sight —it was ???????? ???? ?????????? ??????????. Day Two at the Chiang Mai SEO Conference has been all about tackling our industry's biggest challenges: → Outdated metrics → Reliance on mystery over hard science → Businesses losing trust → And SEO strategies that fail to deliver It just made me pause and reflect —how did I end up here? Let me take you back to how it all started. Rukkus, my first company, had a shot at the big leagues. It would boost our SEO with over 1M backlinks and millions of hits of targeted traffic. The results? A total miss that didn’t work out. I watched a talented team dissolve, one by one, as they moved on. But I couldn’t. The ?????? of it all kept me awake at night. I needed answers. I was determined to crack the code... From Google Patents to correlation studies, I dissected metrics like Moz DA, Ahrefs DR, Majestic’s Trust Flow, Page Load Speed, Content Length, and more. I even read Bill Slawski’s SEO by the Sea (RIP, Bill). What started as a failure turned into an obsession. And that obsession turned into expertise. The lessons learned at Rukkus and the SEO insights I’d developed I shared them with those around me. Even with my friends in Silicon Valley. But sharing with a few wasn’t enough. I wanted this knowledge to scale. Thousands could benefit from the knowledge I’d been sharing with just a handful. And that’s how LinkGraph was born back in 2019. This journey has been anything but straightforward, but every stumble taught me how to help others avoid the same pitfalls. How did SEO find you? ????
