Soft Target Engineering to Neutralize the Threat Reality转发了
I had the pleasure of visiting Los Angeles last week and am grateful to Professors Detlof von Winterfeldt, Randolph Hall and Qiang Huang for hosting my research talk at the Daniel J. Epstein Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at University of Southern California. I also appreciate Professors Ali Mosleh and Ertugrul Taciroglu for hosting my presentation at the The B. John Garrick Institute for the Risk Sciences at UCLA. Additionally, thanks to Richard John, Kevin Kapadia, Mahta Moghaddam, Andrés Gómez, Giacomo Nannicini, Ali Abbas, Carl Kesselman, Jong Shi Pang, Abigail Horn, Mohammad Pishahang, Gabriel San Martín, Wadie Chalgham and the many others who took the time to meet with me. Visiting neighborhoods affected by wildfires reinforced the belief that our scientific research on public-private partnerships for disaster management would help these communities!!
