A standout example of his commitment was during recent renovations when he meticulously managed kitchen supplies and inventory, ensuring that each room had the correct, brand-new items, from pots and pans to silverware. ? Marckenson also goes above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction. Whether it's addressing a minor issue like wiping down a wall or remaking a bed, he engages with our guests personally to ensure their needs are met. He’s empowered to make decisions, and it’s not uncommon for him to suggest further actions, like offering a room re-clean or even adjusting a guest’s bill to enhance their experience. ? During the Monthly DEI Discussion Meeting, led by Camryn Choye, MBA, SHRM-CP, we learned about the rich culture, traditions, and food staples from Mexico from Lesley Valencia (Experience Ambassador, Sentral Union Station), the Dominican Republic and Panama from Manuel Castro G (General Manager, Sentral SoBro), and Colombia and Mexico from Jenni Beltran (People Business Partner).
