He is a proud graduate of Alabama A&M University, where he earned a B.S. in Commercial Advertising & Print Management. With over 25 years of experience in graphic design, photography, social media management, and marketing, Orran has served as a production manager for two newspapers and two magazines, as well as a social media manager for several local businesses. His passion for creativity extends to his work as an artist, Master Gardener, and wooden spoon maker. An advocate for education, leadership, and cultural preservation, Orran has spent the past decade promoting self-sufficiency and reconnecting with nature. Through his work with Aunt Katie’s Community Garden, he has championed the principles of "GYOF" (Growing Your Own Food), "Each One Teach One," and "Create Every Day," helping individuals cultivate their own produce and foster economic independence.
