SGR Results and Announcements Congratulations to James Kadolph who recently had a case affirmed by the 10th Circuit related the District Court granting summary judgment. Jonathan Eddy received an Order granting a Motion to Dismiss in a civil rights case. Congratulations to Jonathan Abramson and Heather Salg on being named to the Top 100 Colorado Super Lawyers for 2025. Art Kutzer and Tiffaney Norton were also named as Super Lawyers for 2025. SGR is pleased to announce Tiffaney Norton and Eric Ziporin will be the managing partners of the firm as of January 1, 2025. We are pleased to announce that Billy-George Hertzke was appointed by Governor Polis s a District Court Judge in the 14th Judicial District beginning on January 15, 2025. Sincere thanks to Billy-George for his decades of service, hard work, and devotion to SGR and its clients. He changed countless lives with his legal acumen and will continue doing so as a Judge.

We are thrilled to announce that Brandon Guinn has been named a Partner at SGR. Brandon's hard work, dedication, and accomplishments over the years make him the perfect person to be at the helm of the SGR Construction Defect Group. SGR Results and Victories January 2024:      • Karen Rogers was asked to join the Denver Chapter of CLM Board as the Director of Events and Education. March 2024: •  Jonathan Abramson won a Motion to dismiss in Federal Court. • Gabriel Cutter obtained a favorable ruling evidentiary ruling in a ski case pending in Federal Court.     • James Kadolph won an appeal in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals where the panel reversed the District Court’s denial of a Motion for Summary Judgment.     • James Kadolph and Eric Ziporin won summary judgment in a case involving and alleged unconstitutional denial of benefits.     • Lori Hulbert won a complex case where the opposing party was held to a previously negotiated agreement.      •  Billy-George Hertzke and Natalie Norcutt received summary judgment in a case involving an allegedly negligently maintained ditch.       •  Shaun Gloude and Lori Hulbert received a favorable ruling in an Estate case to avoid a 14-day trial.        •  Tiffaney Norton obtained dismissal of a case based on the statute of limitations and the CGIA in Federal Court with the client being awarded reasonable fees and costs. May 2024: • Tiffaney Norton’s defense verdict in an auto accident case was affirmed by the Colorado Court of Appeals. • Eric Ziporin and James Kadolph obtained a defense verdict for our clients in an alleged excessive force case tried in Boulder. • Art Kutzer and Bruce Robinson obtained summary judgment in an auto case involving significant alleged injuries. •  Courtney Kramer, Bruce Robinson, and Tiffaney Norton obtained summary judgment in a premises liability case to avoid a 12-day trial.

During its 50th year providing excellence in the Colorado legal arena, SGR is pleased to announce that Heather Salg has joined the firm as a Partner.
