We are a Medicaid Planning Company that has been assisting clients and providers through the complicated Medicaid process for over ten years.     Happy Tuesday! I know it has been a while since I posted but I am back sharing my stories and experiences about those I help with the Medicaid process! For today, let's get to know me a little better. I started working in the healthcare field 14 years ago. I worked at a Pediatric Acute Nursing Home. I then went on to work as a social service coordinator at a Geriatric Nursing Home. After that, I got my Administrator's license and I was an administrator at an Assisted Living Facility. In all my roles, I was involved with the Medicaid process. I learned so much and experienced the first-hand challenges that families were facing from having to place loved ones into a facility. Not only are there a lot of feelings of guilt, worry and shame, but there is also the concern of, "will we have to spend all of their life savings"? Another common worry is, "how will I get through the immense stacks of paperwork for Medicaid"? Four years ago, I went out on a mission to make this process easier for families. I went on a mission to learn about ways to preserve assets and get people on Medicaid in the most efficient manner. I work with Attorney's, facilities and individual clients to assist with Medicaid asset protection and the Medicaid application process.
