关于我们
Sense is making the energy transition accessible for everyone. Our mission is to reduce global carbon emissions by transforming the relationship between people, homes and the electric grid. To do this, we empower people and utilities with the knowledge and solutions required to shape a brighter, cleaner future. We partner with meter manufacturers to offer utilities software that helps them meet their electrification goals by making the grid more scalable and resilient. Our consumer app makes homes smarter, empowering people to make better use of their energy, lower electricity bills, and reduce their carbon footprint.

Did you catch the Sense and National Grid session at?#DISTRIBUTECH? As one of the first utilities to bring real-time insights to its customers, National Grid offers a unique perspective on the power of high-resolution data. Jordana Temlock and Nate Boyce co-presented "National Grid's AMI 2.0 Rollout: Edge Computing Opens New Paths for Both Consumers and Grid Operators", sharing highlights from the recent AMI 2.0 deployments in New York and Massachusetts. They explored the benefits already being realized from meters, including the Sense app for their residential customers, and insight into the upcoming pilot of the Sense EV solution, which will help National Grid identify and manage EV charging on the grid—enabling smarter load balancing and #grid planning.

Had a great time representing?Sense?at the Responsible Investment Forum in NYC last week, where I shared my thoughts on how sustainability can help portfolio companies grow their business. For us at Sense, that means continuing to ensure our operating plan is aligned with our mission of reducing global carbon emissions through the use of real-time intelligence at the edge of the grid. Special thanks to my fellow panelists as well as?PEI / New Private Markets for having me and hosting such a great event. I returned feeling energized and encouraged that there are so many good people dedicated to driving this industry forward. #RIFNY25
