This is our caregiver Daviel with our client David. Daviel and David worked on this puzzle together over the course of two days they had spent together. Beginning with our initial assessment at our clients home, we work closely with the client and their family to learn their interests, likes/dislikes, and hobbies. Our office is in the City of Aurora historical district. Last week we were asked to participate in a ceremony with the city, state, family of previous owners, and the Aurora historical society as they unveiled a brand new State of Ohio historical marker. Built in 1825, the Converse-Hurd building was a place for trading. Cheese was legal tender and was often used to obtain whiskey. After learning that the city was “very picky” about who they would lease this building to, we were honored that they chose Senior Helpers to be good stewards of this amazing piece of history.
