At Senior Care Home Entertainment, our nonprofit mission is to alleviate depression and loneliness among the residents of senior care and nursing homes by providing premium, live music and entertainment performances at no cost to the care homes. The current health crisis has prevented us from sending our local musicians and entertainers into senior care and nursing homes. In response to this heartbreaking situation, we have created a television series specifically for those isolated residents to reach them through their televisions, tablets, computers and phones. Entertaining Older Folks is a weekly, one-hour, variety style program with music, comedy, magic, poetry and so much more! And, it’s cost-free. It streams on YouTube on the Senior Care Home Entertainment Channel. The current episode is available to view 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can also catch up on any previous episodes you may have missed, archived on the channel and always available to view. It is also available on the public, education and government (PEG) cable television channel and streaming service in Los Angeles - LA Channel 36. They run on Spectrum cable Ch. 36 (Los Angeles), AT&T U-verse cable Ch. 99 (Los Angeles) and stream live on the web (LA36.org) - - Tuesday 1pm and Thursday 2pm.
