When I struggled to find treatment for my own perimenopause symptoms—driving an hour away and paying out-of-pocket—I never imagined we would build something that now provides care across all 50 states, partners with Fortune 100 employers, and is scaling to help over a million women annually by 2029. But no founder accomplishes this alone. Behind every success story is a team of believers, supporters, and co-creators who make the impossible possible. The statistics remain staggering: 75 million American women in perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause, with only 30% of U.S. residency programs offering formal menopause curriculum. There's still so much work to do—and we'll do it TOGETHER. Because when midlife women succeed, we all do. For years, I’ve been working with engineering leaders and seeing the challenges they face daily. It’s a tough gig. The ask: * Achieve ambitious goals while navigating the everyday toil of the job * Create resilient and highly effective teams * Encourage and support developers’ professional growth * Keep your sanity while doing more with less Now, there’s real anxiety about how AI is transforming our future. While new AI advances are exciting, the pairing with company announcements about replacing teams with AI and laying off “low performers” creates a lot of stress. The power balance has clearly swung the other direction. That’s what sparked the vision for Exceeds: How do we champion the individual? It’s time to use AI to help people reach their potential, not replace them. Today, I’m excited to share an important milestone in that journey: we recently closed our $4.6M seed round. This round was led by Venrock, with support from SemperVirens Venture Capital , Sancus Ventures, inVest Ventures, and a group of inspiring pre-seed angel investors with amazing leadership experience from LinkedIn, Coinbase, Meta, ServiceNow, Netflix and beyond. In our first chapter, we’ve built a platform that doesn’t blindly focus on lines of code or solely on subjective feedback, but instead leverages your everyday work to build meaningful insight and context to help them succeed. For our early customers, the impact has been meaningful. We’ve turned legacy performance processes that took weeks, and drove higher quality results within minutes. We’re still very early on, and there’s much more of this mountain to climb.
