Yesterday, the team at Bellevue 600 marked a major milestone with the project's topping out ceremony! Sellen is partnering with Seneca Group and NBBJ Design on this 43-story tower in the heart of Bellevue. Since the start of the project: ??11,630 tons of structural iron have been fabricated and erected. This is approximately the same weight as 58 Statues of Liberty. ??9,720 tons of rebar have been placed -- the approximate weight of 3,240 pickup trucks. ??74,000 cubic yards of concrete have been placed, which is equivalent to 22 Olympic-sized swimming pools. Congratulations to everyone who helped achieve this milestone! ??

Recent studies suggests that the construction industry generates more carbon emissions than previously thought. To better understand our own emissions, Sellen collected more data in 2023 than ever before from jobsites throughout the Puget Sound region. Our 2024 Sustainability Report includes a detailed breakdown of this data and how we plan to leverage these insights to reduce our environmental impact in the years to come. ??
