We were once again blown away by the outpouring of support shown by our amazing community near and far, and patrons of the Winter Wildlands Alliance Backcountry Film Festival at the historic Panida Theater in Sandpoint, Idaho! . Because of YOUR support with this event, and our 2024-2025 Winter Reach and Teach Campaign, we met our fundraising goal and raised $10,063!! . Together, we are starting a New Year off right! The success of this event ensures that, once again, hundreds of 5th Grade Youth from Lake Pend Oreille School District will be able to explore and learn in, and about, their winter wildlands from the mountains to the lake! . Simply put, if you don't experience it directly, you don't necessarily understand it. SOLE's SnowSchool Experience program provides an unparalleled opportunity to not only experience THEIR winter wildlands through hands-on learning outdoors, it ensures that local area youth have a firm and robust understanding of how their wild landscapes relate to their everyday life. .
